Osakis Blood Drive: Every pint counts
While the recent blood drive held in Osakis wasn’t as successful as organizers would have liked, it will still make a difference.
While the recent blood drive held in Osakis wasn’t as successful as organizers would have liked, it will still make a difference.
With a goal of 70 there were 59 blood donors presenting, eight deferred and three incomplete.
There were three first time donors and Dick Wagner received an eight-gallon pin.
Doreen Mielke, one of the drive coordinators, expressed thanks to al of the donors, volunteers and staff.
“We are thankful and appreciative of each and every donor,” she said. “We hope to see you all in September. Bring a friend; we need you.”
