Brooks pleads guilty to Fortenberry murder

Jeffrey Allan Brooks pleaded guilty to the Diane Fortenberry murder.
On Friday, November 18, Brooks reportedly entered a guilty plea to the charge of second-degree intentional murder.
According to a news release from the Todd County Sheriff's Office, the murder happened when Brooks was committing a burglary at the Fortenberry residence on Whitetail Trail in Gordon Township near Osakis.
The maximum sentence for second-degree murder is 480 months.
Brooks will be sentenced in January 2012.
