The body of Maryann Biskey was found Thursday afternoon. Biskey, 57, of rural Burtrum, was found dead about a quarter mile from her residence in Bruce Township.
The Todd County woman was reported missing January 4.
At this time, the cause of her death is not known; an autopsy will be performed at the Anoka County Medical Examiner's Office.
The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information should contact the Todd County Sheriff's Office at (320) 732-2157.
According to authorities, Biskey's husband woke up January 4 and couldn't find her. Her family and friends had not heard from her since the evening of January 3.
The Todd County Sheriff's Posse, Long Prairie Fire Department and a Minnesota State Patrol helicopter assisted in search efforts. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is assisting in the investigation.
