NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

The Osakis Township Board of Supervisors is requesting proposals for the road maintenance and snow removal for a 3 year period for 33.87 miles of road, starting June 12, 1012 to June 11, 2015.

Sealed proposals should be submitted to the Township Clerk at 17374 S. Ketelle DR NE, Osakis MN 56360 by 5 PM, May 14, 2012. Bids should be clearly marked “Osakis Township Road Maintenance Proposal.” Proposals will be reviewed by the Board of Supervisors at 7 PM, May 14, 2012 at the clerk’s home at the regular monthly meeting.

Services requested include the following but are not limited to: grading of road with a motor grader, mowing road ditches, spraying of weeds, snow removal, salt and sanding, and other maintenance.

Proposals should include the following: Statement of qualifications, listing of number and types of road maintenance equipment, list of number of employees available to complete services, references, and a proposed fee schedule.

Successful contractor will be responsible for maintaining a certificate of insurance in the amount of $1,000,000.00 during the terms of the contract.

Osakis Township maintains the right to reject any or all proposals.
