Osakis Lions to host walleye tournament

The Osakis Lions Club will hold its 32nd annual walleye fishing tournament on Lake Osakis June 16-17.

Prizes will include $8,000 for the first place team based upon 100 teams being entered. The top 15 places will receive cash prizes. In addition, trophy plaques will be awarded to the top three teams.

The tournament is a two-person event, limited to 100 teams and entry fee is $350 per team.

A banquet meal and rules meeting will be held the Friday night before the tournament.

Entry forms are available at various bait stores in the area.
