To the editor:
Thank you to all who helped make our recent blood drive a success. We were slightly short of our goal, but this is a busy time of year.
We had 45 people sign in with three deferred and six red blood cell donors, which counts as 12. A total of 48 units were donated.
These young people were first time donors: Alida Hovey, Mariah Becerra, Alicia Arias, Haileyrose Sherman, Chris Terwilliger and Austin Kuhlmann.
A special thank you to the donors, especially the teens, and the volunteers and staff. I hope you continue to donate.
