Plans are under way to move forward on the Idlewilde Resort development project.

A planned residential development overlay and final plat plan were approved at the July 2 Osakis City Council meeting.

John Anderson from Municipal Development group met with the council and discussed converting the resort into owner-occupied units. Lots six and 10 will still be operated by the resort.

The plan includes landscaping, parking and utility work. The property is zoned as a low density residential district and development was at the recommendation of the planning commission.
