So what happened to integrity and impartiality in reporting? After watching the news reports I saw, I was left puzzled. I couldn't help but wonder why Rep. Otremba's only defense of the statements made by the DNR commissioner that the legislature forced his hand was, "That's what we do." Rep. Otremba obviously has much more to say than that so why was the story so poorly reported? We see this too often where the news media plays such a strong role in swaying public opinion toward one view or another. Is it more important to add bias or controversy in order to sell air time than to report the news the way it is? I may or may not agree with what was done regarding the pier but I do prefer that the news media give me the respect to deliver all the facts and allow me to make my own assessment. Bob
