Preserving history and heritage is the number one goal of the Osakis Heritage Center, which held its annual meeting Thursday, September 20 at the Osakis VFW Club. About 45 people attended the event, which included the business meeting and entertainment by Mikko Cowdery on his guitar and ukulele.

Chaplain Chad Schwanke conducted worship service on Sunday morning at Terrace Heights Chapel. The pianist was Jan Larsen. Thank you to the volunteers who helped and a special thank you to Kay Boogaard, who conducted a Catholic Communion service and gave the mothers a stem of daisies for Mother’s Day. Thanks again for thinking of our special mothers at Galeon.
