In 2001 the Todd County Board adopted a comprehensive plan, prepared by a broad based group of Todd County citizens, which, among other things, recommended that a southwest scenic drive be created in Todd County to include the Amish businesses and which would show off the history and scenery of the area.

Commentary: Banking industry standing strong
In December, President Obama urged leaders of the nation’s largest banks to find creative ways to free up lending. The messaging was interesting. First, he blamed the bankers for causing the financial crisis by lending too much, and then he blamed them again for causing high joblessness by lending too little.
