CMH NEWS: Cake and pizzelles served at monthly birthday party

Week of Feb. 26-March 4:

On Sunday morning, a non-denominational worship service led by Steve Fredrickson was held at Terrace Heights Chapel. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped and to those who conducted a Catholic communion service.

Bingo was played at Terrace Heights on Monday afternoon. DC and Hawk entertained at CMH after bingo.

Father David Petron of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Osakis and St. Nicholas of Belle River celebrated Mass on Tuesday morning at Terrace Heights Chapel.

The rosary was recited before Mass. Assisting were Sandy Waldvogel, Charmaine Hartmann, Kathy Berg, Loretta Becker, Phyllis Tegels, Joyce Klimek, Dick Daas and Bob Schluender.

Ladies from Elim Lutheran Church hosted the monthly birthday party. They served chocolate and strawberry cake and pizzelles. Assisting and bringing the delicious desserts were Linda Pallow, Karen Vogh, LaVonne Quam and Kathy Fiskness. Kathy also played the piano.

On Wednesday morning, we played Yahtzee and Farkle. Bingo was played at West View in the afternoon.

The Rev. Steve Hilde of Salem, Sauk Valley and Little Sauk Lutheran churches conducted a chapel and communion service at CMH after bingo, and he led a Bible study on Thursday afternoon.

Thanks to Karen Vogh for helping with manicures on Thursday morning during Nifty Nails. The Osakis Review was read before dinner. The Viking Library Bookmobile stopped.

The Country Couple, Larry and Mary Lou Simpson, entertained on Thursday afternoon at CMH. They played guitar and sang lots of old time country western music.

Bingo was played on Friday afternoon.
