March 15

Warning for driving conduct; CR 2/CR 82.

Medical; male dizzy and weak, possibly from new meds; transported; 8th Ave W.

Education presentation; DARE; 1st Ave E.

Welfare check; called in by public school; no one home, left message on door; 7th Ave W.

Complaint about truck driving too fast on King St; company contacted and will notify drivers; 1st Ave/W Lake St.

Lost animal; white Chihuahua with tan patches; no collar; dog found by neighbor and returned; 1st Ave W.

Animal complaint of dog running at large; could not locate anyone at residence but saw large gray dog on other side of door; left door hanger requesting person(s) there contact OPD; 1st Ave E.

Check welfare; comp says male party inside car and hasn't moved in 2 hours; male working on dash; all OK; W Main.

Education presentation; request for donation; 8th Ave E.

Traffic hazard; someone ran into barricade protecting a propane tank; comp is afraid someone will hit the tank now. Heat shield tank attached to run over; no veh debris found; tank secured and other items removed from road; city workers notified; W Main.

March 16

Public assist; caller on vacation and dog was loose; 1st Ave E.

Adult arrest; checked address for a couple of warrants; W Main.

Suspicious activity; open door called in by neighbor; E Lake St.

Minor accident, no injuries; veh 1 facing west attempting to make u-turn on CR 82 by CR 3; veh 1 pulled out and was struck by veh 2 that was also headed west; veh 1 drivable and veh 2 towed; 3rd Ave/W Nokomis.

Assist Alexandria; white GMC pickup pulled out in front of comp and started driving slowly; CR 81/CR 82.

March 17

Medical; male fell and has hip pain; transported; W Main.

Animal complaint; comp reported a female in gray Ford car lets her two dogs, one a pitbull, run free in vacant lot at Central and Lake every morning; pitbull straying further each day; advised comp to call OPD when it happens again; E Lake.

Harassing texts and calls from pers 3; pers 3 spoken to and warned. Incident involves a civil matter over business ownership; E Main.

Patrol activity; motorist reports a suspicious veh parked for quite a while in evergreens e/f Belle River; notified DCSO; CR 3/CR 71.

Public assist; unable to locate; Gas Mart mgr said he came in and bought snacks and left; W Nokomis.

Warning for speed; 1st Ave E/Hwy 27.

Warning for speed; 1st Ave E/Hwy 27.

Stopped veh for speed and expired tabs; issued citation; 1st Ave E/Hwy 27.

Suspicious person; male riding around on bike asking for a place to live; found male at church, he was given permission to set up tent on property; W Nokomis.

Info: male will be sleeping in tent on church grounds; church called and said they gave permission; he will leave in morning; 3rd Ave W.

Animal complaint; neighbor's dog in yard again; talked to comp; talked to dog's owner and he said must be a break in underground fence; 7th Ave W.

Citation issued for speed; driver has 2 serious speeds in last year; insurance card expired; 68/55; I94/Hwy 27.

Warning for speed and not passing safely; 1st Ave/Hwy 27.

Driving complaint; PT Cruiser with NAPA sign; high rate of speed; assist State Patrol; stolen veh; 1st Ave W.

Assist other agency; SP has wrong-way driver; uncooperative and running on foot; eastbound on I-94, MM 117; I-94.

Gas drive-off; Long Prairie PD will attempt to contact driver; OPD stopped veh in Osakis and spoke to occupants; they paid at pump but it apparently didn't go through; they returned and paid; W Nokomis.

Stopped veh that did a gas drive off; they returned and paid; Hwy 27/CR 37.

Suspicious activity; dark blue Lumina keeps driving around area; when comp tried to talk to them they sped off; officer spoke to comp; Laven's Lakeview Dr.

March 19

Warning for taillight; 8th Ave E/Laven's Lakeview Dr.

Warning for speed; Hwy 27/Todd CR 4.

Criminal damage to property; back window of veh broken out; happened sometime this morning; W Oak St.

Warning for speed; 1st Ave/Hwy 27.

Warning for speed; 3rd Ave/Hwy 27.

March 20

Alarm; receiving double door; motion; entrance glass breakage; delivery truck driver opened back, thought employee was there but no one was inside; alarm went off; W Main St.

Cable line hanging low across roadway; 8th Ave/E Lake St.

Veh unlock; W Lowry St.

Animal complaint; small dog roaming area; lt brown rat terrier size; kenneled at OPD for now; posted info on Facebook; owner notified thru Facebook and picked dog up; E Pike St.

Warning for brake lights out; CR 3/Trisco Cove Dr SE.

March 21

Medical; male with uncontrolled nose bleed; transported; E Main St.

Education-presentation; DARE; 4th Ave W.

Assist Todd Co looking for person walking on DATA Trail; found resident from group home on trail near West Union and transported him back to home in Sauk Centre without incident; West Union.

Person would like to speak to officer about confidential info; drug-related info that occurred in rural Osakis; relayed info to drug task force; W Nokomis.

Juvenile trouble; 13 YO defiant female; person 1 acting irrational and made suicidal comments; person 1's mother and family friend brought her to ER; W Nokomis.

Assist other agency; Todd Co deputy veh search; extremely strong odor of fresh marijuana; driver admitted to smoking recently; unable to locate marijuana in veh; I-94/MM 116.
