The Osakis Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts thank everyone who recently donated to the food shelf. The troops had their annual "Scouting for Food" event on March 25 and collected 420 pounds of food, along with $31 in cash donations.

The 29th annual food drive was a community stewardship project aimed at addressing the problem of hunger in the community. Scouting for Food is a project rooted in the foundation of the Scouting movement. The Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and their community partner, Gate City Bank, worked together to help those in need.
