Veh ran out of gas, driver was putting some in, blocked traffic for safety, Hwy 27/ I-94.

Animal complaint, brown curly-haired dog running around neighborhood, contacted owner, W Main.

August 27

Wallet left by entrance to police department, contacted owner, on their way to pick up, E Nokomis.

Caller reported someone trying to break into their home, E Lake.

Suspicious person, person walked from Nelson looking for apt to rent, W Nokomis.

Male screaming and acting weird, called said may have large knife, person homeless looking for work and apt, no knife located, E Lake.

Stopped for revoked driver and window tint, driver was valid and warned on tint, W 6th Ave/ W Pike.

Report of physical disturbance between male and female, person arrested for domestic and transported to DC Jail, N 6th Ave.

August 28

Commercial burglary alarm, basement motion, spoke to keyholder, checked building, all clear, notified security, E 3rd Ave.

False alarm, back door, W Nokomis.

Driving complaint, Escort occupied by 3 males, stopped in front of comps house and smoke coming out of windows, W Oak.

Dog barking for a long time, parked for 10 min, no barking heard, UTL, W 3rd Ave/ W Oak.

August 29

Nuisance violation, letter sent to property owner, E Main.

Comp wanting to report threat made to his sister by a male, civil matter, E Main.

Check welfare, request for check on patient who has history of passing out, seemed confused and comp lost connection, assisted patient with meds, patient ok, W 1st Ave.

Comp states female attacked her while she was checking on her friend's cat, comp states it was feud over laundry detergent, spoke with person, she said other person was being verbally abusive and threw box of dryer sheets at her, Nokomis, Alexandria.

Comp wants to know what to do about renter yelling and cussing at him, comp stated that person was verbally abusive again when he talked about cleaning up the yard, has happened before, W Nokomis.

Pickup not staying in lanes, transfer from Todd Cty, stopped for crossing center line, warned, Nokomis.
