Listening session will address conservation issues
Todd Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) and the USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) invites farmers and the public to attend the 2017 listening session.
It will take place Wednesday Nov. 15 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Todd County Historic Courthouse in the Prairie Conference Room.
The purpose of the listening session is to identify priority natural resource concerns in the County and to list local priorities that can be addressed through the Environmental Quality Incentives Program and other Farm Bill conservation programs.
A local workgroup meeting will follow from 11 a.m. to noon, where members of the workgroup will set resource priorities in Todd County.
