Two injured when pickup hits buggy in Todd County
A pickup truck rear-ended a horse-drawn buggy in Todd County on Tuesday, injuring two people on the buggy.
The Minnesota State Patrol said Eli Yoder, 20, was treated at St. Cloud Hospital and Dan Yoder, 16, was treated at the hospital in Long Prairie. Both sustained for non-life-threatening injuries. The report did not identify where the Yoders were from.
The state patrol said Joseph Cecko, 35, of Little Falls, was driving a Chevy Silverado about 6 a.m., Tuesday, July 25, when he failed to yield to the slower-moving buggy. Cecko was not injured.
Both vehicles were westbound on Minnesota Highway 27 east of Osakis. Alcohol was not involved.
The Long Prairie Fire and Rescue, Long Prairie Ambulance, Long Prairie Police and Todd County Sheriff's Office also responded to the crash.
