Members of the Osakis Trailblazers Saddle Club hosted their annual Ranch Rodeo at the Osakis Arena on June 16 and 17.

Events that take place at a Ranch Rodeo include Team Penning, Trailer Loading, Doctoring and Team Sorting.

Each team consists of four riders and each team competes in each event.

Awards and points are given in each event per team. Of the 31 teams that competed both days, the team that earned the most points and won the winning belt buckles were Jason Eggert, Andy Brinkman, Stacy Steffensen and Mike Steffensen.

Other events that will be held at the Osakis Arena this summer will be July 15, July 29 and August 5. These are all gaming events and are open to the public to watch, free of charge, at the club's arena along Highway 27 northeast of Osakis.
