11:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Bookmobile stops – 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Carol Radjl daycare in Nelson; 1 to 2 p.m. at Community Memorial Home; 2:15 to 3:30 p.m. at Ed Pollard Community Center.

Friday, August 16

8 a.m. Gates open for the Douglas County Fair.

7 to 10 p.m. Live music by Robb Justice at the Osakis Liquor Store

Saturday, August 17

8 a.m. Gates open for the Douglas County Fair.

Saturday, September 7

9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Moonshine Madness Day at Panther Distillery and downtown Osakis. New events have been added — a bartender competition and Moonshine Half Mile Fun from 11 a.m. to noon. Other highlights include trolley rides between the distillery and downtown, chainsaw carving, live music at O'Town Tavern, street dance, distillery tours and food, whiskey sampling, poker walk, inflatables, kids' games, pontoon rides, bean bag tournament, softball tournament and more.
