Bicyclists raise $2,315 for St. Jude's hospital

The 2018 St. Jude Bike-A-Thon was a big success.

More than 25 participants raised $2,315 — the second highest amount in 27 years, according to organizer Mary Lou Quistorff.

Proceeds from the event will support the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital — a pediatric treatment and research facility focused on children's catastrophic diseases.

Al Edenloff

Al Edenloff is the news and opinion page editor for the Echo Press. He was born in Alexandria and lived most of his childhood in Parkers Prairie. He graduated with honors from Moorhead State University with a degree in mass communications, print journalism.
