5:15 p.m. Osakis Public Schools will offer a presentation in the school auditorium about vaping. Anyone is welcome to attend. Also, the school received a large donation of band-new clothes from sizes S-6XL (men's and women's) that will be set out in the cafeteria. Free-will donations accepted. Proceeds will go to families in the Osakis area who might need an extra boost during the holidays.

5:30 to 7:30 p.m. (or until food is gone.) First Presbyterian Church of Osakis invites everyone to its October Friendship Table Meal, which will include spaghetti, salad, garlic bread and dessert. All are welcome. Free-will donations accepted.

5:30 to 7 p.m. Annual Osakis Community Halloween Party at the Osakis High School cafeteria, sponsored by the Osakis Women's Association.

4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Osakis Presbyterian Church Trunk or Treat in the church parking lot, 101 West Oak Street. All children are welcome to come trick or treating in a fun, safe environment. There will be treats given out. Bring treats to share.

Sunday, November 3

11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Head of the Lakes Resort's Chili Cook-Off. Four categories will be judged — originality, people's choice, presentation and spiciest. Judging will take place at half-time during the Vikings/Chiefs game. For more information, call 320-859-4252.
