Noon. Serving begins for the annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner at the First Presbyterian Church of Osakis Fellowship Hall, 101 West Oak Street. All ages are welcome at no charge. The traditional holiday menu will be served. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are appreciated. Call the church, 320-859-4550 or Osakis Senior Center, 320-859-2325. Transportation and meal delivery will be available in and near Osakis. Call to make arrangements. Free-will offerings will be donated to local food shelves.

1 to 4 p.m. Queen Elsa is coming to the Lillian Building, 211 First Ave. E, Osakis. There will be cookies, juice and you can register for prizes. Free to the public. All Queen Elsa fans are welcome to attend.

11:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bookmobile stops – 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Carol Radjl daycare in Nelson; 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at St. Agnes School; 1:45 to 2:30 p.m. at Community Memorial Home; 2:45 to 4 p.m. at Ed Pollard Community Center.

1 to 4 p.m. First Presbyterian Church will hold its annual Christmas Tea. Come and relax while enjoying a warm beverage and holiday treats. There will also be a bake sale and craft sale.

4:30 to 6:30 p.m. “Shopping Local for the Holidays” event in downtown Osakis, sponsored by the Osakis Chamber of Commerce. Check the Osakis Review for more details.

Saturday, December 7

9 a.m. to 2 p.m. A Homespun Christmas Craft Show will take place at the Lillian Building, 211 First Ave. E, Osakis. Homemade cookies will be sold. Register for prizes and shop for Christmas gifts.

10 a.m to noon. Santa Day at the Osakis Public Schools cafeteria. (See front page for more information.)
