ORDINANCE NO. 117,
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY ZONING ORDINANCE SECTION 31
FOR THE CITY OF OSAKIS
COUNTY OF TODD AND DOUGLAS
STATE OF MINNESOTA
Section 1. Purpose and Intent. The purpose of this ordinance amendment is to amend the Osakis City Ordinance regarding the regulation of accessory structures and exterior colors. The intent is to allow smaller accessory structures to have an exterior color of any kind, but to still require larger accessory structures to be similar as the principal structure color.
Section 2. Amendments. Section 31 of the Osakis City Zoning Ordinance shall be amended to include the following language. Underlined language would be added:
31.06: ACCESSORY STRUCTURES.
G. The same or similar exterior building color shall be used on the accessory building and the principal building, except for structures under 201 sq. ft. in size. Agricultural buildings shall not be allowed in the R-1, R-2, RM, C-1, C-2, C-3 or I-I Districts.
Effective Date: This ordinance amendment shall be in full force and effect from and after passage and publication according to state law.
Repeal: This ordinance shall repeal all ordinances inconsistent herewith.
