Sunday morning, a non-denominational worship service was held in the Terrace Heights Chapel led by Nathan Larson. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped and to those who conducted a Catholic Communion service.
Bingo was played at West View on Monday afternoon.
Father David Petron of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Osakis and St. Nicholas of Belle River conducted a Catholic communion service Tuesday morning in the Terrace Heights Chapel. The rosary was prayed before mass. Assisting him were Pat Mohror, Marilyn Grundman, Anne Nathe, Loretta Becker, Bob Schluender and Dick Daas.
Tuesday afternoon, we made homemade ice cream on the patio with a choice of raspberry, caramel or chocolate drizzle. It was a beautiful day to be outside.
Card games were played on Wednesday morning. Bingo was played on Wednesday afternoon in Terrace Heights.
Several manicures were done on Thursday morning during Nifty Nails. The Osakis Review was read before dinner. The Viking Library Bookmobile stopped.
Thursday afternoon staff members were able to bring in their pets for Pet Day. Tony Van Acker and his daughter, Eva, brought their two dogs, Lolly and Falcor; Kathy LaFrenz brought her daughter Sherry’s dog, Charlie; and Shawn Bouldin’s wife, Jessie, and their daughter, Maddie, brought their two goats, Mocha and Coconut. After interacting with the animals, we served our leftover homemade ice cream for dessert.
Friday was International Beer Day. We played bingo and served beer and potato chips. Saturday morning, we enjoyed putting together a bird craft, with picture frames and wooden bird cutouts. Bingo was played in the afternoon.
