CMH News: Residents go back to 'home ec'
Sunday morning a non-denominational worship service was held in the Terrace Heights Chapel led by Steve Fredrickson.Thank you to all the volunteers who helped and to those who conducted a Catholic Communion service.
Bingo was played at Terrace Heights on Monday afternoon. Lee and Priscilla Zarbok entertained at CMH after bingo. Lee plays keyboard and they sang many beautiful songs together.
Father David Petron of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Osakis and St. Nicholas of Belle River celebrated mass on Tuesday morning in the Terrace Heights Chapel. The Rosary was prayed before mass. Assisting were Marilynn Grundman, Dick Daas, Mary Hunter, Phyllis Tegals and Bob Schluender.
Tuesday afternoon staying with our theme of the month, we had Home Ec Class. We peeled apples, made seven pies and froze five gallon bags on apples for apple crisp next winter. Peelers included, Alice Sanders, Darlene Goodwin, Frances Sauer, Geri Irwin and her friend, Willie. Thanks for all your help.
Card games were played on Wednesday morning. Bingo was played at West View in the afternoon. Rev. Lindell Quam conducted a chapel service at CMH after bingo.
Lots of manicures were done on Thursday morning during Nifty Nails. The Osakis Review was read before dinner. The Viking Library Bookmobile stopped.
Thursday afternoon was trivia and a slice of warm apple pie with ice cream.
Bingo was played on Friday and Saturday afternoon. We also did some crafts on Saturday.
