1 p.m. Annual business meeting of stockholders and patrons of the Osakis Creamery Association at the Osakis Community Center. Two directors will be elected. A dinner will be served at 11:30 a.m. for stockholders, patrons and their families.

11:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Bookmobile stops — 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Carol Radjl daycare in Nelson; 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at St. Agnes School; 1:45 to 2:30 p.m. at Community Memorial Home; 2:45 to 4 p.m. at Ed Pollard Community Center.

1 to 4 p.m. First Presbyterian Church of Osakis, 101 West Oak St., will hold its annual Christmas Tea. Come and relax while enjoying a warm beverage and holiday treats. There will also be a bake sale and craft sale.

7 p.m. Osakis High School Choir Holiday Concert in the Auditorium.

Wednesday, December 12

Al Edenloff

Al Edenloff is the news and opinion page editor for the Echo Press. He was born in Alexandria and lived most of his childhood in Parkers Prairie. He graduated with honors from Moorhead State University with a degree in mass communications, print journalism. He interned at the Echo Press in the summer of 1983 and was hired a year later as a sports reporter. He also worked as a news reporter/photographer. Al is a four-time winner of the Minnesota Newspaper Association's Herman Roe Award, which honors excellence in editorial writing.
