1:30 p.m. The Osakis Community Memorial Home Auxiliary will hold its first general meeting of 2019 in the West View dining room, weather permitting. Anyone interested in joining the auxiliary is welcome to attend or stop in to find out more information.

11:45 a.m. 3:30 p.m. Bookmobile stops — 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Carol Radjl daycare in Nelson; 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at St. Agnes School; 1:45 to 2:30 p.m. at Community Memorial Home; 2:45 to 4 p.m. at Ed Pollard Community Center.

5 to 7:30 p.m. Spaghetti dinner fundraiser for veteran suicide awareness at the Osakis VFW Post 7902.

Al Edenloff

Al Edenloff is the news and opinion page editor for the Echo Press. He was born in Alexandria and lived most of his childhood in Parkers Prairie. He graduated with honors from Moorhead State University with a degree in mass communications, print journalism. He interned at the Echo Press in the summer of 1983 and was hired a year later as a sports reporter. He also worked as a news reporter/photographer. Al is a four-time winner of the Minnesota Newspaper Association's Herman Roe Award, which honors excellence in editorial writing.
