9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Spring Vendor/Craft Event at Crooked Willow, 11181 County Road 82 SE, Osakis. It will include more than 50 vendors with many unique crafts. The event supports Jingle Bells.

6 to 7:30 p.m. Early Childhood Family Education "Family Fun Dance" in the ECFE hallway.

Thursday, April 11

6:30 p.m. Liz Goldstein of Jews for Jesus will recreate the traditional Passover service and explain how it foreshadowed Jesus' death and resurrection in a presentation called "Christ in the Passover" at First Presbyterian Church in Osakis. All are welcome to attend the Friendship Table meal prior to the presentation, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the church. Free-will donations accepted. Call (320) 859-4550 for more information.

11 a.m. Just for Kix performance, Osakis High School Auditorium.

7 p.m. Villard American Legion's Ham and Turkey Bingo at United Methodist Church in Villard. Three cards for $1 or 50-cents a card. Door prizes. Proceeds will go toward community projects.

7 p.m. Spring Choir Concert, Osakis High School Auditorium.

1 p.m. Drug Abuse Resistance Awareness (DARE) graduation, Osakis High School Auditorium.

6 to 10 p.m. Osakis Alumni Basketball Tournament at high school and elementary gyms.

Al Edenloff

Al Edenloff is the news and opinion page editor for the Echo Press. He was born in Alexandria and lived most of his childhood in Parkers Prairie. He graduated with honors from Moorhead State University with a degree in mass communications, print journalism. He interned at the Echo Press in the summer of 1983 and was hired a year later as a sports reporter. He also worked as a news reporter/photographer. Al is a four-time winner of the Minnesota Newspaper Association's Herman Roe Award, which honors excellence in editorial writing.
