Sauk Centre man pinned under car in West Union

A Sauk Centre man was injured when he was pinned under a car in West Union Friday night.

The Todd County Sheriff's Office responded to the incident at 1st Street Southwest at about 10 p.m. Jesse Wolbeck of Sauk Centre was working under a car that was being lifted up by a Bobcat when the car slipped off the skid loader bucket, pinning him underneath for about two minutes, according to authorities.

Before first responders arrived, the car was lifted off of him. Wolbeck was transported to St. Michael's Hospital in Sauk Centre and later taken to the St. Cloud Hospital where he was treated for brusing to his internal organs in the chest and abdomen area.

Osakis Police Department, Osakis Fire and Rescue and North Ambulance from Alexandria all assisted at the scene.
