One person was ejected from their vehicle and three people were injured Tuesday night in a two-vehicle crash just east of Alexandria.

The crash occurred at the intersection of County Road 82 and East Lake Victoria Road SE, and was reported at 6:55 p.m.

According to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, which responded to the crash:

A 2004 Ford pickup driven by Steven Stixrud, 54, of Osakis, was traveling north on East Lake Victoria Road SE, and a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Jacob Haan, 27, of Alexandria, was going west on County Road 82 SE, when both vehicles collided in the intersection and came to rest in the ditch on the northwest side of the intersection.

Haan was ejected from his vehicle during the collision.

Both drivers and Lori Stixrud, 58, of Osakis, who was a passenger in the pickup, were transported by ambulance to Alomere Health in Alexandria. Haan and Lori Stixrud were later transferred to other medical facilities for further treatment. Their condition is unknown to the sheriff's office, which is investigating the crash.

Assisting on the scene were the Alexandria police and fire departments, North Memorial ambulance and air care, Life Link III and the Minnesota State Patrol.
