Welfare check, comp stated her son is in manic state and needs to be evaluated, comp asked if officer would talk to him after speaking to person, decided he would go in with family.

Foot patrol, door checks, Central/Main.

Parking complaint, vehicle blocking driveway, due to semi-cleared shared driveway parking is tight, comp given permission to park on street that night, E Pike.

January 17

Complaint of persons having sex behind building, located one person who stated no sexual activity, stated that other person was there but left prior to officer's arrival, left message for one person's parent and spoke to other person's parent, W Nokomis.

Foot patrol, door checks, Central Ave/Main.

January 18

Funeral escort, E 1st Ave.

Property exchange lined up for Saturday, persons will contact OPD when ready, W Oak.

Gas drive-off, contacted person by phone, they will come back and pay, W Nokomis.

Resident requesting overnight parking variance, approved, W 7th Ave/W Pike.

Residence check, E 9th Ave.

January 19

Two warnings for on-street parking overnight.

Business check, Hwy 27.

Funeral escort, W 3rd Ave.

Caught someone shoplifting on cameras, citation mailed to person, W Nokomis.

Business check, Central Ave.

Stopped into Pigeon Flyer Club Expo, W Nokomis.

Stopped vehicle due to appearing person not licensed, wrong person driving, no further action, Central Ave/E Nokomis.

Warning for upper brake light out, citation for no MN driver's license, no proof of insurance and expired registration, second citation for person for same violations in four days, E 2nd Ave/E Nokomis.

Theft of softener salt, witness statements taken, citation issued, W Nokomis.

Business check, E Nokomis.

Stopped juvenile for speed, had driver call parent after discussing the matter, parent ensured driving conduct would be handled at home, warning for speed.

January 20

Car smoking and possibly on fire, E Pike.

Female having issues with a neighbor, neighbor is harassing and threatening, person has been instructed to leave comp alone by officer and apartment management, W Main.

January 21

Comp hit a vehicle prior night after work, went back in morning to leave a note but car was gone, wants to make a report in case someone reports their vehicle was hit, E Nokomis.

Welfare check, comp checks on person but hasn't seen him since prior day, doesn't answer phone calls, person not at his residence, W Pike.

Female possibly took whole bottle of pills, person stated she is not going to hurt herself and has not taken pills in an attempt, with mother and sister at mother's residence.

Placed salt and sand at intersection due to glare ice, E 1st Ave/Nokomis.

January 22

Vehicle unlock, W Main.

Parking questions, 1st/E Oak.

Opened center for Cub Scouts, W Nokomis.

Medical, 27-year-old female very weak and trouble standing, transported, E Pike.

Assist other agency, vehicle all over the road, driver stated he did not believe he was driving badly, no dangerous driving conduct observed, warning issued, Todd Cty 4.

Citation for failure to obey stop sign, agreed he did not stop, E 1st Ave/Hwy 27.
