Door-to-door salesperson complaint, meat salesman with no permit, will check town for them.

Passerby observed lumber falling off of a truck, returned lumber to owner, N 6th Ave/W Nokomis.

Semi hauling farm equipment hit bridge, tore off a large cover and broke cast-iron piece, semi stopped and looked at damage and left, no apparent damage to bridge, E Nokomis/Hwy 27.

Check welfare of person after receiving concerning texts, person seemed fine and in good spirits.

May 17

Escort for state track, E 1st Ave.

Animal complaint, found stray cat in garage, dead in attic storage, E Lake.

Permit issued for acquiring handgun.

Fingerprint for firearms purchase.

Traffic stop for canceled license, driver had paperwork showing 180-day extension, will check with DMV, Calvary Road/CR 82.

Suspicious activity, person had photo of naked female that he thought was a student, picture was located by parent and removed, was from adult website, school will be informed.

Vehicle with no plate, stopped to speak with husband in other vehicle, E 1st Ave/Hwy 27.

May 18

Motorist assist, out of gas, gave ride to an adult male to Nelson, E Main.

Theft, several boat gas cans stolen throughout the night, no suspects, no complaints of stolen cans but two have been found on E 1st Ave, E Nokomis.

Comp states a female is harassing her via Facebook Messenger, no direct threats at this time, comp wants person trespassed removed from property, informed that being next to a public restaurant causes difficulty with the order as she is allowed to be there, E Main.

Warning for stop sign, E 1st Ave/Hwy 27.

Stopped for equipment and issued warning, told to fix issue, E 3rd Ave/Hwy 27.

May 19

Stopped for speed and tint, driver stated he had no license, vehicle parked and person waited for a ride, citation issued, another person arrived to drive the vehicle home, W Nokomis.

Vehicle stopped for tint, driver given field sobriety test and preliminary breath test, passed all, warning for tint, E 1st Ave.

Medical, female with knee pain, can't put weight on it, says she felt something crack, transported, W Queen.

Warning for speed, E 1st Ave/E Nokomis.

Caller wanted to talk to an officer about records OPD released about her, informed no reports were given out unless they were involved.

Domestic, caller stated her dad upset her and left her behind the gas station, comp is vulnerable adult and had argument with dad, tried to get out of the car, both parties at fault but agreed to head home.

Trespass letter delivered, person not allowed at residence, E Nestor.

Comp stated he was assaulted by some individuals and his Fitbit was stolen, all persons were interviewed by the OPD, turned over to parents.

May 20

Vehicle broke down and caller has repairman coming to get it from the side of the road, W 3rd Ave/W Main.

Citation for speed, warning for speeding in construction zone, CR 3/CR 73.

Warning for speed and no proof of insurance, 27/170th.

Warning for speed, E 2nd Ave/E Oak.

False alarm, fire alarm, burned popcorn, cancelled OFD and cleared, E 8th Ave, Alexandria.

Patrolled bike trail.

Assist other agency, Todd County looking for suspicious vehicle, numerous thefts in area, grey truck with Fox sticker in rear window seen in area, unable to locate, 131st Ave.

Warning for speed and no proof of insurance, N 6th Ave/W Nokomis.

Assisted with pursuit on I-94, vehicle stop-sticked and PIT was performed to disable vehicle, driver arrested by State Patrol for fleeing, DWI, controlled substance in possession.
