The radar didn't look promising heading into the 51st annual Osakis Festival last weekend. However, the bash went off without a hitch.

From Friday to Sunday, hundreds of people from the Douglas County area came out for the vendors, kids activities, the grand parade and more. Osakis residents held their breaths as thunderstorms were scheduled to rumble throughout the weekend. The rain held up for the most part, allowing fun for all at the Osakis Festival.
