Driver injured in rollover near Osakis

A 19-year-old driver from Roseville was injured in a rollover on Interstate 94 east of Osakis Sunday afternoon, Feb. 10.

Misael Moreno was driving east in a 1997 Ford F-150 east of the Douglas County line in West Union Township when the vehicle left the freeway. It rolled as it entered the median. The road was covered in ice and snow, the State Patrol said. 

Moreno, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to CentraCare Health in Sauk Centre with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol.

Osakis fire and rescue crews were called to the scene, along with the Osakis Police Department and Sauk Centre Ambulance.
