Osakis police respond to crash near I-94

Osakis police responded to a two-vehicle crash at the westbound Interstate 94 exit to Oak Street in West Union Township Thursday, June 27.

A 2011 Chevrolet Silverado driven by William Lehn, 75, of Sauk Rapids exited the interstate near Osakis and then crossed Oak Street to get back on the interstate when it struck a 2008 Dodge Nitro at the intersection, according to the State Patrol.

The Dodge driver, Karen Hustoft, 75, of Sauk Centre, suffered minor injuries and was taken to the Sauk Centre Hospital by the Sauk Centre Ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

The crash happened just before noon.
