September 13

Commercial burglary alarm, business said they are having problems with their alarm, disregard, E Nokomis.

Trespassing complaint, comp wants female removed from his property, refusing to leave, female left with daughter and dog, lights off and all quiet, W Oak.

Stolen vehicle, assisted with towing Durango, vehicle recovered in Sauk Centre, person arrested after standoff with law enforcement, W Nokomis.

Medical, male breathing but not moving, assisted, transported, W 1st Ave.

Juvenile trouble, daughter is stating that she is going to live with dad, informed both of law and gave statute number.

Would like officer to escort her and her friend to get personal belongings, other person was not home and she did not have keys, informed to call again when he was there, W Oak.

September 14

Door checks, foot patrol.

Traffic stop, I-94/Hwy 27.

False alarm, all secure, informed owner, having issues with it, E Nokomis.

Suspicious activity, Gas Mart stated that they have people on video placing stickers/flyers on pumps, persons trespassed from Gas Mart, were warned about about placing flyers on utility poles and any city property, W Nokomis.

Loose dog, German shepherd with tag, brought home to owner, left door hanger with warning, E Nestor.

Delivered planning and zoning packets.

Business check with two Douglas County deputies, W Nokomis.

Warning for upper brake light out, W Nokomis.

Resident was advised that her house window was open and she wasn't home, didn't find any open windows, E Pike.

September 15

Bar check, E 8th Ave.

Suspicious activity, resident reporting tall male in white T-shirt wandering around area, also an unknown person shooting a pellet gun in area at 5 a.m. several mornings recently, advised to call OPD when activity is occurring, E 4th Ave/E Main.

Car by water tower, comp stated that her boyfriend has threatened to kill himself with a gun.

Vandalism to business owner's shop/garage, green spray paint, W 1st Ave.

Vandalism, graffiti painted all over lake access park, shop/garage, trail bridge, dock, fish cleaning shack, port-a-potty, skate park and other city property, green spray paint.

Person would like assistance getting meds out of house, husband kicked her out, comps significant other not home, house locked, they said they would be home later and would call OPD to get meds.

Report of stolen vehicle, comps vehicle was towed for being on owner's property, unfounded, Central Ave.

Citation for no MN driver's license, warning for brake light out, E 1st Ave/Hwy 27.

Found open end gate on SUV at cabin, notified owner, E Lake.

Complaint of puppy in fenced yard that sounds like it is in distress, howling and yelping for a couple hours, walked area and spoke with neighbor, no barking/unable to locate, W Queen.

September 16

Warning for parking after 2 a.m. on Main, Central Ave.

Dropped off two people walking on Lake St to their residence on Queen, E 6th Ave/E Lake.

Suspicious person, comp stated male in shorts was looking through vehicles in back parking lot and then took off eastbound, unable to locate, W Main.

Criminal damage to property, comp stated his 24 ft enclosed trailer was spray painted, W Main.

Vehicle unlock, daughter in car, Nestor.

Suspicious activity, vehicle was gone through prior night, same area as suspicious person from morning, packet of laxative pills missing, W Main.

Welfare check, comp at Bethel Manor has not heard from his wife for 3 days, history of heart issues, friend stated she is OK, told him to have her call sheriff's office when she comes back, W Nokomis.

Lost black lab, collar and tags.

Warning for speed, CR 2/CR 82.

Warning for tinted tail lights, couldn't see brake lights when lit, E 4th Ave/E Nestor.

Assist other agency, person has warrant and anonymous caller stated she is enroute to Osakis in silver car, unable to locate.

Welfare check, friend went to get ex's property and was supposed to have an escort, does not answer the phone, everything OK, spoke with all parties, W Oak.

Warning for speed, 27/Todd Cty 4.

Motorist assist, blacked out car with door open on side of road, driver was adjusting items, all OK, Hwy 27/E 8th Ave.

Comp reported that female sent him a Snapchat of a pill bottle and asked how many she should take, spoke with parent of person, no indication of injurious behavior, allergy meds only.

Assist other agency, attempt to intercept vehicle being followed by homeowner who caught driver defecating on the end of his driveway, unable to locate, Hwy 27.

September 17

Business check, W Nokomis.

Suspicious activity, male tried to get into building at Westview, suspect sitting in old truck with topper and lumber sticking out the back, person located leaving Heritage apartments, name and DOB does not come back, backpack full of tools and damage done to lock box of maintenance doors at apartments, arrested for attempted burglary, N 6th Ave.

Dog has been barking for 10 minutes, will speak to owner, E Main.

Suspicious activity, black car with people in, windows covered and hood up, looks like was in a crash, Hwy 27.

Welfare check, wants wife checked on again, appeared she wasn't home, left door hanger to call, W Nokomis.

Suspicious person asking to rummage through construction dumpster and casing the area, W Pike.

Issued ice cream coupon to child wearing bike helmet, W Pike.

Warning for expired driver's license, E 5th Ave/E Lake.

Medical, 87 year old female fell, laceration to arm, bumped head, assisted with info, transported, N 6th Ave.

Assist motorist with flat tire, W Nokomis.

On foot attempting arrest on felony warrant, no contact.

September 18

Warning for unhitched trailer on street overnight, E 2nd Ave.

Medical, 78 year old female fell, hip pain, caller is first responder, transported, N 6th Ave.

School traffic.

Warning for speed, E 1st Ave/Hwy 27.

Suspicious vehicle, comp stated that dark colored Subaru was parked on side of road, person walking around with notebook, unable to locate, Lake/Todd Cty 4.

Business check.

Suspicious person, male with shaggy hair and dog hanging around the building and then went to DATA trail, was looking in windows earlier, gave person ride to Alexandria, W Main.

Welfare check, dr reporting vulnerable adult, left without permission, may live in Osakis with sister, W 1st Ave.

Kids throwing rocks at comp in alley, spoke with children, comp started throwing rocks first, advised to avoid the area due to continuous issues he is involved in, E 6th Ave/E Lake..
