October 24

Silver Kia all over the road, unable to locate, E Nokomis/Hwy 27.

Comp states that a dog came around her house and bit her 12 year old son, bite on his side and broke skin, comp spoke with owner and justed wanted OPD to know, issued verbal warning to owner, W Pike.

Set up Douglas County Public Works speed trailer on loan to OPD, E Nokomis.

Minor trying to purchase alcohol, person attempted to purchase with other person's credit card, per attorney prosecution declined, both persons trespassed from liquor store, E Nokomis, Alexandria.

Medical, male isn't able to stand or walk, transported, W Oak.

Medical, female having a seizure, placed in back of squad car per her request, refused transport, W Oak.

October 25

Medical, elderly male cold and clammy, transported, W Main.

Comp stated her nephew's dad choked him the prior night.

Vehicle unlock, E 1st Ave.

Civil matter, owner will stop back in a while and pay for gas, W Nokomis.

Fraud, IRS phone scam, W Oak.

Minor property damage accident, E Lake.

Citation for speed, warning for stop sign and no current proof of insurance, Hwy 27.

October 26

Assist APD on flasher call, PC arrest, unable to locate at time, located at residence, arrested and transported to jail per APD.

Warning for speed, Hwy 27/clinic.

Medical, 90-year-old with shortness of breath and fast heart, transported, W Main.

Permit to purchase handgun, approved, E Nokomis.

Warning for speed, E 1st Ave.

Business check, W Nokomis.

Warning for stop sign violation, tail light section out and no driver's license in possession, E 1st Ave/E Main.

October 27

Funeral escort, W 3rd Ave.

Criminal damage to property, male advised there were two vehicles in parking lot with four tires that appeared to be slashed, owner requested tow to Walmart tire, female did not have suspect at time, four witnesses and suspect interviewed, felony charges pending, W Main.

Assist other agency, off duty DNR officer got call of deer that needed to be dispatched, observed tire marks but no deer in sight, CR 3.

Animal complaint, pug at large, owner claimed dog, advised to put tag on collar, W Oak.

Call from DNR about bald eagle, eagle secured in portable kennel, will be transported to St Cloud to meet raptor center volunteer, transported, CR 3.

Would like to speak to officers about person's issues with his family.

Comp at high school states driving impaired person took off with kids in black Dodge Caravan, E 1st Ave.

Suspicious person walking around business with flashlight, unable to locate, E 1st Ave.

October 29

School closing traffic, E 1st Ave.

Medical, 72 year old female, difficulty breathing, assisted with info and loading, transported, W Main.

Business check, W Nokomis.

Public assist, $48, didn't appear intentional, will have APD stop at residence, driver will call Brother's Market, W Nokomis.

October 30

Gas drive-off from prior day, will contact registered owner again, W Nokomis.

Property damage accident, E Nokomis.

Business check, W Nokomis.

Assist other agency, Todd County Probation received tip that person was drinking at the establishment which would be a probation violation, person left prior to officer's arrival, also checked other establishments, unable to locate, E Nokomis.

Threats, caller says that a male at the auction said he was going to buy a gun and shoot him in the rear end.
