February 7

Complaint of drunk driver west on Nokomis, city maintenance employee reporting vehicle all over the road, stopped for over center line, sober, warned for driving conduct.

Warning for lights in inclement weather, E 1st Ave/Hwy 27.

Warning for no headlights in inclement weather, W 2nd Ave/W Nokomis.

Brought driver to their vehicle that went off the road, I-94.

Male hit comp's car, said he would give his information but then he took off, spoke with comp, gave statement, video footage, driver's license, spoke with Long Prairie PD for possible location of suspect vehicle, Long Prairie made contact with driver who admitted to hit and run, cited for hit and run and driving after suspension, person cited for owner - no insurance, W Nokomis.

Wooden door on old bowling alley looks like it was kicked in, comp saw a cat run inside, bottom part of door broke, cat inside building, advised that it is an ongoing issue and they have spoke with bank and other owner, E Main.

Assist other agency, vehicle rollover, four occupants, one injured, requested ambulance and OEMR, transported to Long Prairie ER, State Patrol wrote crash, transported two passengers to Alex, Hwy 27/CR 93.

February 8

Warning for on-street parking after midnight, E Oak.

Vehicle moved prior to tow truck arrival for snow plowing, warned, Main.

Person stuck at end of driveway, assisted in getting vehicle unstuck, E Lake.

Warning for wrong way on Central Ave, E 1st/E Pike.

Gas drive-off, person called and left message, went to person's address, unable to locate, info passed to night car, W Nokomis.

Warrant, unable to locate, person arrested for GM warrant, transported to jail, W Oak.

Welfare check, comp has been trying to get a hold of his wife since morning, she has bad heart, found comp's wife, she was OK, told to call her husband, W Nokomis.

Warning for headlight out and no current insurance, W 8th Ave/W Oak.

February 9

Suspicious activity, comp heard his screen door open and thinks someone is in his house, has armed himself with BB gun, no fresh tracks in snow, cleared the house and advised comp that cold weather may have caused the house to shift and make noise, W Oak.

Warning for speed, W 3rd Ave/W Nokomis.

February 10

Car in ditch, insurance company sending tow truck, W 8th Ave/W Nokomis.

Assist State Patrol on freeway, vehicle in ditch, provided lights for traffic, I-94.

Traffic hazard, report of intersection sign being struck, looks to have been lifted back into place, E Main.

Comp wants to speak to someone about his landlord threatening to tow his car for no reason, talked to comp and landlord, landlord is going to deal with the issue, has been working with law enforcement to resolve the issue, assisted with tow, W Main.

February 11

Medical, elderly male with afib, transported, E Lake.

Comp wanted it documented that his renter threatened him on Feb. 11, W Main.

Child protection issue, complaint came into DCSS referencing swollen bruised ear and black eye.

Dog running in street by muni, unable to locate, 51/27.
