A night of plays, beautiful artwork, music, and dramatic and comedic performances took center stage at the Osakis High School Thursday night.

It was "Starry Starry Night'' — an annual collaboration featuring the Speech Team Dramatic Duo, a short play, Jazz Band and vocal solos and ensembles.

Osakis student artwork was on display in the little gym.

Performances in the auditorium began with two students, Jordyn Meyer and Morgan Rach, deeply and hilariously contemplating The Allegory of the Cats.

This year's play was "Personals and Proposals," six short scenes that were performed throughout the evening, including The Worst Proposals Ever!, Coaches, Not What I Pictured, Sports Event, A Bit Too Personal, and Not Quite a National Geographic Special.

The acting company included Isabelle Allex, Amanda Berry, Jasmine Buffington, Josie Diel, Zach Hommerding, Jordyn Meyer, Kyrah Oeltjen, Morgan Rach, Mikayla Schablin, Cindy Van Acker, Thomas Van Acker, Cassie Vickerman, Nicole Waltzing, Anna Wolf and Marcus Wolf.

Also helping with the production were Ella Claseman, Derek Hetland, Shanna Mathwig, Brianna Woodard and Ewa Zajac.

Vocal performances included Deep River by Nicole Loverink, Eyes of Heaven by Elana Eckel and Matt Peikert, Danny Boy by Riley Werven, I Am a Small Part of the World by the Sophomore Women's Ensemble, and I'm Bound Away by the Sophomore Men's Ensemble.

The Osakis High School Jazz Band closed out the evening's performances.
