Osakis Public Schools has a few noteworthy events coming up in the next couple of weeks.

Parent-teacher conferences are set for Monday, Oct. 14, from 3 to 7 p.m. and on Wednesday, Oct. 23 from 3 to 6 p.m.

Also, during both nights of conferences, the school will offer presentations on vaping, which are open to the public. They will take place at 6:15 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 14 and at 5:15 on Wednesday, Oct. 23 in the school auditorium. Anyone is welcome to attend.

Also, Osakis Public Schools has received a very large donation of brand-new clothes from sizes S-6XL (men's and women's). They will be set out in the cafeteria during both nights of conferences. Free-will offerings will be accepted.

"Anyone can take these clothes, and if they want, they can leave money but they don't necessarily have to," noted Superintendent Randy Bergquist. "The money from this free-will offering will go to families in the Osakis community who might need an extra boost during the upcoming holiday season."
