The Osakis wrestling team went 1-2 at the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Quad on Tuesday night, beating Ortonville 48-27 and falling 49-25 to Eden Valley-Watkins and 63-15 to BBE.

BBE went 3-0 at its home event and won the first eight weight classes against the Silverstreaks before Nathan Bjerk pinned his man in 1:56 at 160 pounds. Triston Stoetzel followed with a pin in 44 seconds at 170, and Dominic Strom got Osakis’ final win in a 5-1 decision at 195.

The Silverstreaks fell behind early again against Eden Valley-Watkins after losing the first four weight classes before Carsten Jacobson stopped the bleeding with a 2-0 win at 132 pounds. Bjerk and Stoetzel added wins again, as well. Bjerk picked up a major decision (17-6) at 160 and Stoetzel got another pin in 3:09 at 170. Strom also got another win by pinning his man in 2:58 at 220, while Brock Faber got a forfeit win at 195.

The Silverstreaks pulled away against Ortonville with the help of forfeit wins from Hunter Harlow, Bjerk, Stoetzel, Ryan Milhausen and Faber late in the match.

Strom had a three-win day as he pinned Nathan Ehrenberg in 3:41. Gaven Cimbura also got a pin in 3:30 at 106, while Nathan Kulzer earned a pin in 49 seconds at 126.
