The Osakis golf teams went to the Greystone Golf Course in Sauk Centre on Wednesday as the girls finished third out of five teams, and the boys were fifth out of six programs.
The girls shot a team score of 415, while Albany won the meet with a 382. Lexi Dirkes took second overall with an 86, while Kadyn Triebenbach was fourth at 93. Katie Helm shot a 112 and Marissa Reilly carded a 124 to finish off the Osakis scoring.
“Lexi was dialed in and shot a great round on that course and in those conditions,” head coach Chris Grove said.
The boys shot a team score of 396 as Minnewaska won the meet with a 326. Chase Triebenbach led the Silverstreaks with an 87. Tanner Mathews followed with a 100, while Jacob Uhl (101) and Jason Sommars (108) finished off the scoring. Noah Dirkes and Owen Rajdl each shot 116 to round out the lineup for Osakis.
“Chase followed up his two nice scores from Friday with another very good round today,” Grove said. “Tanner, Jacob and Jason all put in nice rounds, as well."
