After winning a tight game at Sauk Centre on Saturday, the Osakis boys basketball got back to putting opponents away by a wide margin at St. John’s Prep.

The Silverstreaks (4-0) cruised past the Johnnies (1-2) 79-42 after shooting 52% from the field (33-63). Daniel Savageau had 16 points, while Luke Staloch added 13 and Luke Imdieke and Kobie Lara each added 11.

“Good to see multiple guys filling up the stat sheet as opposed to just a few players,” Osakis head coach Matt Hoelscher said. “We got them to play faster than they wanted to and converted on their turnovers. We executed our transition game fairly well and did a great job rebounding on both ends. We had a lot of unselfish plays tonight and found ways to create our own energy in a gym that is tough to play in.”
