The Osakis boys basketball team continues to cruise this season as the Silverstreaks improved to 11-1 on Thursday with an easy win over Swanville.

The Silverstreaks jumped on the Bulldogs (3-7) to grab an 18-point lead at the half. They put up 39 more points in the final 18 minutes to secure a 77-45 win.

“Very well balanced tonight as we created the tempo we wanted and forced Swanville into turnovers,” Osakis head coach Matt Hoelscher said. “We did a nice job being aggressive and getting deflections, but we also gambled and fouled way too much. It was a physical game and our guys did a nice job keeping their composure and playing as a team.”

Daniel Savageau led four Osakis players in double figures with 16 points. Kobie Lara added 12, and Carter Grove and Luke Staloch each finished with 10. Brady Mages added nine points and eight rebounds.
