Girls golf: Osakis wins another CMC meet

The Osakis girls golf team took first place in the Central Minnesota Conference meet hosted by Paynesville at the Koronis Hills Golf Course on Monday morning.

The Silverstreaks took the top spot with a 175, followed by Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa with a 180. Pierz took third with a 191.

Senior Alayna Eldred tied for the individual meet medalist spot with Pierz's Katie LeBlanc. Both girls shot a 38.

With two CMC meets left in the season, Eldred is ranked number one in the conference with an average of 38. Jacqueline Gossen from B-B-E follows in second place with a 42-stroke average. Sophomore Lexi Dirkes from Osakis is third with a 43 average.

Dirkes shot a 43 Monday, followed by freshman Kadyn Triebenbach with a 46. Sophomore Marissa Reilly shot a 48 and sophomore Lexi Randall and eighth-grader Katie Helm each scored a 61.

The Silverstreaks still hold the top rank in the CMC with a total of 897, followed by B-B-E with a 911.

The Silverstreaks host their CMC invite at 9 a.m on May 18 before heading to B-B-E later that day at 1 p.m.
