The Osakis girls golf team got in one final tuneup before sections as the Silverstreaks went to Albany for a quadrangular on May 23.

Course conditions were wet due to the rains that hit the area earlier in the week. Lexi Dirkes led Osakis in Albany with a 45. Kadyn Triebenbach shot a 49, while Marissa Reilly had a 54 and Katie Helm a 56 to round out the scoring. Madison Lipke finished off the lineup with a 68.

"The girls played in pretty wet conditions but it was nice to get a meet in this week," head coach Chris Grove said.

The Section 6AA Tournament for the girls will be played June 3 and 4 at the Blackberry Ridge Golf Course in Sartell. Tee off for day one is set for 11:30 a.m. with the teams and individuals who qualify for day two going off at 8 a.m. on June 4.

BOYS 5A TOURNAMENT POSTPONED

The Osakis boys were scheduled to open the Section 5A Tournament on May 22 at the Eagle Creek Golf Course in Willmar. That opening day got postponed due to heavy rain and wind.

The section meet will now be played May 29 and 30 at Eagle Creek.
