The Osakis girls tennis team made up a match that was rained out earlier this September on Monday afternoon, and the Silverstreaks made quick work of it.

Osakis beat Montevideo 7-0. Every match was decided in straight sets.

“The girls really played a great match today against an up-and-coming section team,” Osakis head coach Ryan Maddock said. “The girls had good, focused efforts and made it look easier than we were anticipating.”

Tia Dykema, Camryn Hoffarth, Alexa Lien and Kennedy George all won in the singles lineup. Mara VanNyhuis and Larissa Hoffarth dropped just one game at first doubles. Sydney Rach and Kadyn Triebenbach dropped just two at the second spot, and Brittany Dietrich and Ellie George won a 7-5, 6-4 match at third doubles.

The Silverstreaks improved to 10-3 overall with the win.
