The Osakis volleyball team bounced back from a 1-3 record at the Sauk Rapids-Rice Tournament on Sept. 7 by winning in four sets against Browerville-Eagle Valley on Thursday night.

The Silverstreaks (4-9, 3-0 Prairie Conference) won the first set 25-9 before the Tigers (4-1, 2-1 Prairie) won their lone set in the second by a 25-22 score. Osakis didn’t let things linger any further as the Silverstreaks put the match away with 25-17 and 25-19 wins.

Osakis spread the ball around at the net. Jacey Larson had a team-high nine kills, but Madisen Johanson (7), Emily Waldorf (6), Laynee Hartshorn (6) and Cassie Halbur (5) all had at least five. Johanson had a team-high 15 assists, and Laynee Hartshorn led the passing with 24 digs.
