The Osakis volleyball team handed out MVP honors to a couple different players as Laynee Hartshorn earned the award on offense and Alli Rach did the same on defense.

Hartshorn had a team-best 166 kills to go along with 31 blocks and 179 digs. Rach led the way from the back row with a team-high 308 digs.

Both girls were All-Prairie Conference players, along with teammates Jacey Larson and Madisen Johanson. Larson had 132 kills, 20 blocks and 294 digs, and Johanson added 131 kills, 30 blocks, 237 assists and 185 digs.

Josee Hartshorn was named Osakis’ most improved-player. As a seventh-grader, she tallied 18 serving aces, three kills, 162 assists and 86 digs.

Hayley Jern earned the Silverstreak Award, and Rach added to her honors with the Miss Congeniality Award.
